i CANT TAKE IT!!!!

i have been assigned this research paper thats due on dec 1st and im stressing bcuz its nowhere near done and i only have 2 more days!!!! my brain has been on mental block this whole semester! i thought this blog would help but it hasnt. i think i just need to get away from everything. im thinking about going on a tech vacation. which would intail me going somewhere away from baltimore with no cell no computer no music nothing! the the evolution of technology would only go up to like the things tht were in the 70s or 60s....i kno it sounds kinda harsh, but i think i need something like that to bring back my creativity. ill see this winter break what i can actually do bcuz i wold have to really plan that out. if i decide to actually do it ill write it.

 When this girl first came out i was all Rihanna fanned out..after awhile it died off and she just was ok. i didnt like the her hit umbrella and a couple songs b4 tht. but once she really came into her own qith the music i really started to like her stuff again. shes become one of my favorite celeb dressers. i love her style!

i dont think babies should have parties every year.

So im just getting in the house from my little cousins 2nd birthday party and it was nice and all but i started talking to my cousin and he was already planning out wht they were going to do the next year. maybe im a little mean but y do kids need a birthday party every year? i think that we should only celebrate the milestone birthdays like 1,2,5,9,13,16 and 18. only because nothing really happens tht big in between each of those times. ill explain y i think those r the ones we should pay more attention too also!

year 1: is the first year tht they have been on this earth...tht birthday shouldnt really be for them but for the parents just becuz tht first year is probably the hardest year for first time parents learning the ropes and all!

year 2: its the beginning of the end of ur little baby u can call adorable becuz as soon as this bday rolls around prepare yourself for the madness of the TERRIBLE TWOS!!!!! celebrate while u can.

year 5: this is the year u always say "my baby is growing up so fast" because ur walkng them to their first day of school. its all goes ny so quick doesnt it?

year 9: i only picked this year becuz this was one of y favorite bdays when i was younger. i think thew kid should be able to dress up in wht ever they would like to wear and have a nice fammily dinner then a nice get together with a couple friends.

year 13: they r off the clock! and wht better way to start ur crazy emotional teen years than with a slumber party!!! everyone should have one big slumber part with some friends and have movies, food,games and good company!

year 16: sweet 16! just give them a party just so they can feel like they r important. it doesnt have to be big but just make it for them.

Finally year 18: no more throwing them parties thank god! they can throw their own now tht their an adult. but this one should be split up.one day have dinner with ur now adult child and just enjoy eachothers company. another day let them plan wht they wanna do with their friends. its time to let go!

I HATE THE RAIN!!!!!!!

So i wake up and leave the house for class.my bro in law tells me to take a jacket so i did and i hurried up and grabbed a umbrella. i knew i should have grabbed my rain boots but it looked fine outside so i didnt. but when i went to class it was nice and dry outside no  water dripping from above or anything. when i leave the class and walk out side its pouring raining and when i lift my umbrella it falls right back down. i decide to check and see whts wrong with it and its snapped at the top where it folds out. i throw it away and start to trecking the rest ofthe way to my next class. and i decided to take my sisters shoes today. shes gonna kill me!!!!

why do ppl do ridiculous things like this?

I have found myself wondering why ppl do wht they do. i see some crazy things on Morgan's campus and answer me why? the first thing i just wanted to bring up was the whole 6 inch heel girls walking across campus to communications..i dont get it I know they are hurting ur feet. and dont try to say they dont hurt bcuz even Mariah Carie said heels hurt but she wears them anyway! i just cant fathom the idea of waking up and putting on 6 inch stilettos and heading to class. the second thing sometimes falls hand in hand with the heels..why are girls walking on campus with outfits used to go to the club in by normal ppl. i can only imagine, well actually i dont have to imagine i have seen wht these girls really go to the club in,they barely have anything on in the first place a bra and panties are not a club outfit they are underwear. Keyword UNDERwear. maybe im just ranting my disgust...but dang its ridiculous! another thing is the dudes on this campus act like they are just getting out of jail. if i see one more butt hanging out of ur pants with ur sagging boxers or whtever i am going to pull ur pants up for u and they'll be so high ur not going to be able to breathe because the belt will be around ur neck. pls dress appropriate for college. most of us normal ppl can only take so much if this unsightly abuse.

wht would u do if u were stuck underground for 69 days?

Ok, so we all know about the Chilean Miners stuck underground for almost 70 days, and i bet most people are wondering how did they cope? No family,no sun, no bathroom and no real home cooked meal.It sounds awful right? well this is the first time a group as large as this has ever been trapped underground and survive over 60 days. It all began on August 5th 2010, when 700,000 tons of massive rock calapsed on the mine shaft inclosing the 33 men over half a mile under San Jose,Chile. For 7 days no one knew if they were even still alive,but finally rescue crews came and found them. it took them weeks to make a rescue tube to save them all.if this were me i would be going crazy. i think i would probably cry and cry thts like one of my deepest fears is to be stuck underground in a small space with no amenities! wht would u do?

Im going to Audition for Crowns.

All the theater majors have to do it but usually dont take them tht seriously...especially me. I havent wanted to be in really any of our productions because i dont want to perform. i just want to be behind the scenes directing and and making sure everything else is right backstage. I used to want to be in the spotlight but now tht i came to morgan it really hasnt interested me as much as it used to...i used to be in at least 3 shows a year and do so many guest performances in different events in Maryland. I dont know maybe its the plays they pick out but really once i watch them their not tht bad. But anyway I have decided to really audition for Crowns in the Spring Semester. I am going to get the play and red it and study it so tht i can know EXACTLY wht i will be getting myself into. I have to start looking for monologues now so i can go and rock my audition! and ill ask some of my choir friends to help me with the song. Hopefully ill get a good part and be able to stick with it. But really the only reason Im going to really try and get in this show is because Im tired of my family and friends not wanting to come and support the any of our shows unless Im in them. But i should be good.

waiting for the bus!

Have u ever been waiting for the bus and a crack head wants to tell u his whole life story? no? well i have, it happened this morning and i cant stop thinking about it. First of all im sitting on the bench just waiting for the 52 bus at mondawmin mall and this old guy comes up to me and sits down. i can tell he is high by they way hes leaning to the side..then i guess he decides he wants to talk to someone and guess whos right next to him? me! he starts telling me about how he was a veteran in the army and saw some crazy things while he was fighting in Vietnam. yea hes tht old! but this whole time im wearing my headphones so ppl wont talk to me.but their not attached to anything bcuz i dont have an ipod, SO I CAN HEAR EVERYTHING!!! so the dude isnt getting the picture and keeps talking about how he was almost a millionaire and how he is goiin to Canada later on tht night to visit her so they can be in a better place before he dies. yea i know super depressing. but he switches over to y she doesnt talk to him and tells me how back in 80s or something he hooks up with her mother in some cray place and then leaves and she calls him one day and tells him he has a kid....this story was getting kinda interesting so i started listening....but anyway and he goes and sees the kid and shes like 13 at the time and he tells her straight to her face bcuz he was drunk tht day tht she isnt his, even though he know she is bcuz she looks exactly like his mother. and like ten years later he tries to contact her bcuz he feels bad about wht he did but she doesnt want anything to do with him...so now hes going to Canada bcuz thts where she lives and he just bought a house up there and he said hes moving there to sped every second trying to regain her love....i thought it sounded kinda sweet tho....

Fun Things to do in Baltimore during the school year.

Everyone is always talking about how bored they are on Morgan's campus. Well guess wht ur not just on Morgan's campus ur in a whole city! Baltimore can really be a fun place to go to school if u kno or have the drive to explore its treasures. but u kno i feel like making it so much easier for ppl this year so here is an exclusive look into all the things Baltimore residents do on a regular basis to have fun:

1. First we have the harbor which is super easy to get to from school (probably the easiest) just take the 33 to the subway or hop on the 3 and it will take u right to the water.

2.We have lots of Malls Towson,Arundel Mills,Columbia,WhiteMarsh,Mondawmin,The Gallery(downtown) and so many more,

3.You can go to Fells point and party with the Latinos or go for the haunted fells point scavenger hunt.

4.We have movie theaters such as Towson,Security(wouldnt go there tho eek),Owings Mills, Whitemarsh, well basically everywhere theres a mall theres a movie theater.

5.We have the 5 seasons which has different events going on there all thru out the year. on Wednesdays they have event called Warm Wednesdays where u can go and sign up and showcase ur talent.

6.we have museums tht are free The Walters ART Museum, and the Museum of Art...which is a great way to spend ur Saturday afternoon they both are right around the corner from Beautiful Metropolitan area.

7. Visit the Aquarium down the Harbor fridays after 5pm its only 8 dollars to get in,but during October its $5 dollars.

8.have a big Picnic with friends at our many Parks in the Morgan State University area. We have Herring Run Park,and some others i cant think of right now!

9.We also have so many festivals going on like every weekend.

10. and Finally we have Theaters tht give free nights to see the show...or student discounted prices....Like centerstage,Theatre Morgan, Everyman Theater, Theater Project, and so many other.

so really its no reason y ppl should be bored on campus bcuz ur only a hop skip away from things to do int the city! hope this helped.
